Jessica and Neil planned their wedding in Lake Tahoe because they love the outdoors and were looking forward to having photos taken by the lake. As luck would have it, the weather had other plans for these two. Not only did the ceremony get moved indoors because of the rain, the reception was enjoyed by candle light and music playing from an IPOD because the electricity went out. Of course nothing kept these two and their guest from enjoying this special day. Jessica sang a cappella for a few songs which was amazing and such a treat. The boys busted out a song and even 4 year old Emma joined in for a song. The weather changed the course of the day but not without offering a beautiful gift of a rainbow; it was breath taking. With an open heart there is beauty and love in any given situation.

What is Wonderstruck?

The feeling you get when you have a sense of wonder, surprise, admiration, etc…

We all have our own dynamic and we express it in many different ways. For me one of the beauties of photographing people is finding that individual dynamic in each person and communicating it back to them.

It’s about sharing time with people until like a switch turning on, a smile, grin, or serious look is captured which shows a genuine element of that person... That is what I seek and wait for when I am working with people.

What a lucky person I am to have the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and be a part of many lives”.
