Darlene and Boen

The moment I met these two I knew I wanted to shoot their wedding! From the feathers assorted into the flowers, the fabulous royal blue shoes, the playful suspenders, to the well-choreographed first dance, these two had no trouble articulating their enjoyable style and the wedding went off with out a hitch.

Good wine is a good familiar creature if it be well used. ~ William Shakespeare

When I talked to Josh about where him and Monica wanted to shoot their photos I suggested they choose a place that was fun and altogether expressed their personalities. I met them at their house and we decided to start at Mosaic in North Park. This is a delightful wine bar (not a bad way to start off :-) and the staff were so kind and accommodating. After, we ventured out into neighborhood of North Park and then ended our fun at the Spruce Street Bridge. I love this bridge!!!… Thank you Josh!!! You stepped up to the challenge to find a great place and you overwhelmingly succeeded.

Merry-Go-Round

Ryan, Elise and I started our adventure at the Merry-Go-Round. Elise is dazzling and it’s not hard to get a stunning picture of her. Nonetheless, it didn’t take long for Ryan to be over the whole “photographing thing!” After some patience and pleading I managed to divert his discontent and we ended up with some additional smiles.

Waiting for Eila Ann Leena!

This is exactly the kind of photo shoot I love to do, stepping into another person’s surroundings and capturing them amongst their environment. I met Lou and Jesse at their house for their maternity photos. It didn’t take long to scan their home and find some inspirational elements to shoot around. These two were open to my creative ideas and were great subjects to work with. When all is said and done I never tire of hearing, “That was so much fun”.
