This New Zealand family was so cute and sweet. I had so much fun with them at the Olivenhain Town Hall in Rancho Santa Fe. They were full of laughter and eager to have their photo taken. This rustic backdrop was a great match for their style.

Holiday Family Photo Mini Session

Every year I host a mini family photo session for the holidays. This year we spent our time at the Marston House in Balboa. As always I have my usual crew and a few newbies. Thank you to my clients who I see every year and thank you to the new families who joined us this year.

What is Wonderstruck?

The feeling you get when you have a sense of wonder, surprise, admiration, etc…

We all have our own dynamic and we express it in many different ways. For me one of the beauties of photographing people is finding that individual dynamic in each person and communicating it back to them.

It’s about sharing time with people until like a switch turning on, a smile, grin, or serious look is captured which shows a genuine element of that person... That is what I seek and wait for when I am working with people.

What a lucky person I am to have the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and be a part of many lives”.
